John Michael Akers, son of Thomas Henry Akers and Edith Constance Duke, was born on 19 October 1926 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, ENG and died on 12 February 2010 in Southmead, Bristol, ENG at the age of 83.
He married Margaret Adams Weston, daughter of William Weston and Margaret Adams.
