      He married Edith Constance Duke, daughter of Charles Herbert Duke and Christiana Jane Haigh, in 1920 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, ENG. She was born on 20 April 1898 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, ENG and died in December 1969 in York, Yorkshire, ENG at the age of 71.
